We're open 7:35 am - 3:15 pm, every student day
Checkouts are two items per student, K-3rd
Three items for 4th graders (must not have a history of overdues/damage/lost items)

The Parent Resource Center (PRC) is also located in the Media Center
It is open for parents/guardians of RES students. 
Fill out a short information sheet, get your patron number, and start checking out.
The PRC has books, games, audio books, puzzles and more to help our students and their families learn. PRC resources are available in English and Spanish for math, reading, science, and learning basics. Please come check out the PRC!

>Every year we read, enjoy, discuss and vote in the NC Childrens' Book Award Contests, open to public libraries and schools across the state of North Carolina. This year we'll be incorporating STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) activities with many of our NC Book Award books.

>We participate in the Randolph County Schools' EBOB(Elementary Battle of the Books.)
Our EBOB team meets most Mondays and Thursdays from October through February, immediately after school, as we prepare for the RCSS EBOB competition against other RCSS elementary school teams across the district.
In last year's competitions we placed in the preliminary round, qualifying us to go on to the final competition. In the Final District Competition, March 10, 2017, we placed 3rd out of the 17 elementary teams. We are very proud of the awesome job by our EBOB Tigers!
