REMINDER!!! If you need bus transportation for the 26-27 school year please contact your child's school to make sure a transportation request is on file. Deadline: July 31. Requests received later won't receive bus service until after Labor Day.
At Monday evening’s meeting, the Randolph County Board of Commissioners approved a significant increase in local funding for the Randolph County School System for the 2026–2027 school year. This investment reflects a strong commitment to supporting student success and strengthening educational opportunities across our school system.
The leadership of our school system extends our sincere appreciation to the County Commissioners for their continued support of our schools, staff, and students. We also thank the members of the Board of Education for their dedication, leadership, and hard work throughout the budget development process. The collaborative efforts of these two groups of elected officials have helped secure important resources that will benefit the students in the Randolph County School System.

The “Pride in the Randolph County School System (RCSS)” program honors employees who consistently demonstrate pride in the school system and exemplify strong character and commitment in their everyday work. While the program primarily highlights smaller, often unnoticed acts of dedication, it also recognizes exceptional efforts tied to larger events when appropriate.
Employees chosen for this recognition are awarded a “Pride in the Randolph County School System” lapel pin. Recipients are selected by members of the RCSS Leadership Team, school principals, or Board of Education members.

Ms. Rodden has been an important part of our school for several years and has made a lasting impact on staff and students alike. She has dedicated her career to her students as well as managing our school yearbook. Her humor makes for an enjoyable workday and a fun classroom. May 1st is School Lunch Hero Day. Our cafeteria staff work hard to ensure all students receive a balanced breakfast and lunch to be ready for the school day. Thank you to all of our cafeteria staff for your dedication and hard work!
