At last night's Board of Education meeting, the following changes were made to the calendar for the 2025-2026 school year:

February 9th-13th is Love the Bus Week. Each of our bus drivers ensure our students get to school each morning and home each afternoon safely. We want to thank our Bus Drivers for all of their hard work and care for our students. They help students start and end their day on a positive note. Thank you all for everything you do!

All schools in the RCSS will operate on regular schedule tomorrow, Monday, February 9.

Due to continued concerns about road conditions throughout the county, Friday, February 6th will be a remote learning day; therefore, students will not report to their school campus on Friday February 6th.

Book Fair is Coming February 23rd-27th! Students can shop 7:30-3:15 Monday-Thursday. You can shop late Monday the 23rd and Thursday the 26th until 4:15. February 9th-13th Randleman Elementary will celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Week. This year's theme is Under Construction: Building a Kinder School. Students will share their kindness challenges with their teachers during morning meetings. Feel free to share photos of your child doing their challenges with their teacher on Class Dojo. We encourage students to complete these daily challenges:
Monday- Greet 3 new people.
Tuesday- Help with a chore without being asked.
Wednesday- Use kind words and kind choices all evening.
Thursday- Encourage or cheer up a neighbor or community member.
Friday- Do a kind act for your family or home.
