Randleman Elementary School recently held its annual Career Day, giving students a chance to learn about a wide range of jobs and career paths. The event came together beautifully thanks to the thoughtful planning of Ms. Samulski, our school counselor, who made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
Students met professionals from many different fields and heard directly about what they do and how they got there. Volunteers from the community and local businesses took time out of their day to talk with students, answer questions, and share their experiences. Those conversations helped make real-world connections that students will remember.
Our PTO also played an important role, as they do with so many school events. They supported the day and provided snacks for our volunteers, ensuring everyone felt appreciated and cared for.
Members of Randleman’s Student Leadership Academy stepped up as well, helping direct guests and keep the schedule on track. Their effort and positive attitude helped create a welcoming and organized experience for everyone involved.
Career Day was a great example of what can happen when a school and its community work together. It was a meaningful day that gave students new ideas and a better sense of the possibilities ahead.
